  • Last minute upgrade - Terms & conditions

    1. The number of points required to obtain a "Last minute upgrade" award depends on the booking classes in which the purchased ticket is issued.

    2. The  Last minute  upgrade order can only be issued for a previously issued flight award issued for LOT's operational, international connections on the following flight numbers:

    ♦ LO 001 - LO 2999

    ♦ LO 3000 - LO 3999

    3. The "Last minute upgrade" order is valid within the validity of a flight award ordered via LOT Book&Collect Baltics program.

    4. A passenger traveling on a flight award with a "Last minute upgrade" award order is entitled to all the privileges provided with class of travel of the originally issued flight award, including baggage allowance and meals.

    5. No additional fees are charged for issuing the "Last minute upgrade" award.

    6. The "Last minute upgrade" award covers only a one-way ticket on routes from and to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. A return class upgrade requires two separate awards.

    7. The "Last minute upgrade" award can be made from the following classes: X (an upgrade to LOT Premium Economy Class or LOT Business Class) and J (an upgrade to LOT Business Class)

    8. The "Last minute upgrade" award can be ordered no earlier than 72 hours and no later than 24 hours before the originally scheduled departure. If the upgrade is for flights on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the following weekend exception rules are applied:

    - for flights on Saturday and Sunday the order for the upgrade must be submitted on Thursday

    - for flights on Monday the order for the upgrade must be submitted on Thursday (whole day) and on Friday till 12:00 p.m.

    9. The Program Participant orders the Last minute award by completing the form on the Program website.

    10. The "Last minute upgrade" award can only be returned together with the return of the award ticket. To return the award, contact the Program Service Center. No additional fees are charged for returning the award. The refund must be requested no later than 24 hours before the originally scheduled departure. For flights departing on Saturdays and Sundays, when the Program Service Center is closed, the refund must be requested by contacting the LOT Polish Airlines hotline directly to remove the travel segments. Then, on Monday, one must contact the Program Service Center to cancel the award.

    11. It is not possible to change the date unless the originally scheduled flight is changed or cancelled.

    12. Redemption of the "Last minute upgrade" award is not guaranteed and is subject to space availability and sales expectations.
